Finished!

Sockapaloooza Jaywalkers finished:

From another angle:

The pedals you see are on my Babe Double-Treadle Production wheel, on which I am spinning laceweight cormo singles. I'm getting about 30 wpi, which, since I have 4 ounces of cormo to spin, means I will be spinning this for the rest of my life. The ultimate goal is a cormo lace shawl. We shall see if that ever happens.

And, for sheer novelty, the lion lies down with the lamb:

I got them today and they are FABULOUS! I was speechless with delight when I opened the package. The colors are perfect (pink and green! My latest obsession!) and they fit *perfectly*. I just took about thirty pictures of them on my feet, and will post them soon. Thank you SO much! I absolutely adore them! :-) The Screaming Pink yarn, too--I really am touched by your generosity. It was so kind of you to include it! I love the yarn, and plan to make it into something worthy of its gorgeousness during the Amazing Lace knitalong.
